For generation after generation, the people who inhabited the North American continent were different in many ways, and the same in others. While not alike in tradition, ceremony, language or lifestyle, they did seem to share a reverence for the earth and all things in nature.
Three centuries ago, however, Europeans who arrived in the Americas saw things differently and to the contrary.
While American Indians sought to be part of the beauty and wild around them, white cultures saw these same gifts as things to conquer, tame and ultimately own. As Western civilization faces a new millennium reflection on the ways of the world has finally increased and with it has come a realization that perhaps the Indian way of thinking might have been the better path.
For thousands of years Indians maintained an ecological and social balance undone in a fraction of the time.

For many years their philosophies were not heard because no one was listening.

I got to experience a little bit of the wild west feeling myself last weekend and I must say I had a fabulous time at this outing with my work. We were riding horses, shooting shotguns and revolvers and spent the day in a western village north of phoenix.

For many years now, women have taken power into their own hands. So I am sure the women that campaigned for freedom and liberty, would have loved our little roadtrip ‘Thelmarina and Lauralouise’.

The tradition of the American road trip is shown in the pictures beneath leaving a some what ‘bitter-sweet’ taste in your mouth.

Thelmarina and Lauralouise are best friends since they met in Barcelona 3 years ago and they travell across the American Southwest after well deserved time off from all the daily drama of the real life.

The main stars here are Thelmarina and Lauralouise, who are some what fed up with the life that they are living, and plan a trip to get away from everything.  They are great friends, but completely different characters in their own right.

This road trip of ours, might be interesting for the viewer, as you might want to know what is going to happen we go from one state to another.

Anyways… I just want you to understand a little bit what we girls are doing is necessary to our freedom and survival.
